Interpretive program for the DAPS: The DAPS-IR
The DAPS-IR provides a comprehensive diagnostic and interpretive system that can be used to administer, score, and generate profiles and interpretive reports for the Detailed Assessment of Posttraumatic Stress (DAPS). This software program allows the clinician to score all of the trauma and related scales of the DAPS and provides additional test information not available by hand-scoring.
The report includes demographic information entered by the clinician, the score summary tables for the protocol, the individual's profile of DAPS T scores, narrative text on the validity of the protocol, detailed information about the individual's scores on each of the DAPS scales and subscales (organized in three main sections of the report: Trauma Specification, Posttraumatic Stress, and Associated Features), profiles of peritraumatic distress (only found in the DAPS-IR) and all DAPS scales, additional scale data (i.e., effortful avoidance versus numbing avoidance subscales -- also only available in the DAPS-IR), diagnostic information, and an item response summary table for each scale. In addition, the report includes an additional (potentially more accurate) scoring approach for the ASD diagnostic criteria.
